Hi, my name is Precious and I live in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Like many young people here, I used to struggle with my salary not stretching far enough. High transport costs, generator fuel, rising food prices, and rent made it hard to save or enjoy life. I was tired of borrowing from loan apps every month and watching my money disappear by the 15th.
In early 2025, I decided to change things. I started testing small side hustles with as little as ₦5,000, tracking every expense, learning thrifty shopping tricks at local markets, and finding simple ways to budget better. Some ideas worked, some didn’t, but the small wins added up.
That’s why I created Thrifty Hustle Hub in 2026, to share honest, practical, and realistic money tips for people like me: salary earners, side hustlers, and anyone trying to build financial freedom on a tight budget in Nigeria.
