- Halo's viral X hiring sheet contains 500+ remote companies, but not all of them hire Nigerians, so I filtered it for you.
- Five Nigerian-based companies from the sheet are hiring right now, the easiest starting point before going international.
- Agencies like Hugo, BruntWork, Support Shepherd, and Pearl Talent have the strongest track record of hiring Nigerian applicants.
- AI and automation VA roles are the least competitive and highest-paying category on the sheet, and most Nigerians are sleeping on them.
- Applying 5–10 times daily, addressing timezone availability upfront, and setting up Payoneer or Wise before you get an offer dramatically improves your chances.
Hey Hustlers. If you've spent any time on X recently, you've probably seen Halo's viral hiring sheet making numbers, a curated directory of 500+ companies and agencies recruiting for customer support, virtual assistant, appointment-setting, medical, legal, and AI automation roles.
I went through the entire sheet to make things easier for you.
My job was simple: filter it for Nigerians. Remove companies that geo-block Nigerian applicants, flag those with a real track record of hiring us, and add direct links so you can apply today instead of spending 2 hours Googling. Here's what I found.
Nigerian-Based Remote and Hybrid Roles
Before going international, check these first — they're from the sheet, and they're based right here in Nigeria:

| Go Lifestyle House | Abuja | Customer Service Rep | golifestylehouseabuja@gmail.com |
| Skin Priest | Ajah, Lagos | Customer Service Rep | Skinpriestng@gmail.com |
| Ade Afrique | Awoyaya, Lagos | Customer Service Rep | adeafrique01@gmail.com |
| Ideal Electronics | Lagos | Customer Service Rep | customercare@idealelectronics.com.ng |
Virtual Assistant Agencies That Actually Hire Nigerians
Not every VA agency on the sheet accepts Nigerian applicants; some, like BELAY Solutions and Boldly, hire US-based workers only. These are the ones worth your time:

Customer Support Companies Worth Applying To
Customer support remains the most accessible remote entry point for Nigerians, strong English, reliable internet, and a professional attitude are your biggest assets here.
Boldr — boldrimpact.com/careers
Explicitly hires from emerging markets including Nigeria. One of the most ethically run BPOs on this list — they pay fairly and treat remote staff well.
Hugo — hugo.inc/careers

SupportNinja — supportninja.com/careers

PartnerHero — partnerhero.com/careers

SalesRoads — salesroads.applytojob.com
One of the more established appointment-setter agencies. US-focused clients, competitive pay.

Hello Rache — hellorache.com

Lawfecta — lawfecta.com/careers
Hires legal VAs for US law firms. Structured application process.
Back Office Betties — backofficebetties.com/careers
Specializes in legal receptionist and admin roles. Worth applying if you have any law firm experience.
AI and Automation VA Roles — The Most Valuable Category on This List
This section caught my attention more than anything else in the sheet — and it should catch yours too.
Companies are actively looking for people who can work with:
ChatGPT and AI prompting
Zapier and Make (workflow automation)
Notion AI
GoHighLevel
AI agent building
Most Nigerians applying for remote jobs are targeting customer support. Very few are positioning themselves for AI VA roles — which means less competition and higher pay for those who do.
If you've been using AI tools in your work, you're already ahead. If you haven't, start now.
VA Staffer — vastaffer.com/careers
Actively recruiting for AI-assisted VA roles.
Hire With Near — hirewithnear.com/careers
Growing fast in the AI VA space. Worth a direct application.
Double — withdouble.com/careers
Executive assistant platform increasingly incorporating AI workflow skills into their requirements.
Pearl Talent and Support Shepherd, both listed above, are also recruiting for AI-integrated roles in 2026.
How to Apply as a Nigerian and What Actually Works
I'll keep this practical, not motivational.
On your application:
Use a professional email — yourname@gmail.com is fine, yourname2004cutie@gmail.com is not
PDF format for your CV, always
Keep your CV to one page unless you have 5+ years of experience
Don't mention your location in your opening line — lead with your skills and let the application form handle the location question
Address timezone overlap directly: "I am available to work [US Eastern / UK timezone] hours" removes the biggest objection before they raise it
On payment:
Set up Payoneer or Wise before you start applying — not after you get an offer. Some companies will ask for your payment details during onboarding, and having this ready signals professionalism.
On volume:
Treat this like a numbers game. Apply to 5–10 positions per day consistently. Most people apply to 3, get no response, and quit. The Nigerians landing these jobs are the ones still applying in week four.
On scams:
No legitimate agency on this list charges application or training fees. If anyone asks you to pay to get placed, it is a scam. Close the tab.
My Honest Thought Before You Apply
Not every company on this list will hire you. Some have geographic restrictions that aren't publicly stated. Some roles will already be filled by the time you apply. Some agencies take 3–6 weeks to respond and then ghost you anyway.
That is normal. It is not a reflection of your worth or your skills.
The people landing remote jobs in Nigeria right now are not luckier than you. They applied more, followed up more, and kept going when it felt pointless.
Use this list as your starting point, not your finish line.
Which role from this list interests you most? Drop it in the comments — I read every one.
And if you found this useful, share it with one person in your network who's been looking for remote work. It costs nothing and might change their situation.
If you land a remote job and start earning in dollars, my Naira Budget Calculator can help you manage the exchange rate and plan your income properly.
